I have been knowing Namrata ma’am for 10 years. We worked at Eklavya International School together for 3 years. I always see her as the most creative person. She is a very knowledgeable person in the Sanskrit language. Her love for the subject is nearly a dedication and that’s why she tries to inculcate the values of Sanskrit scriptures in her students. Her teaching way is very interesting. Her smiling face never knows frowning! A motivated, loving, and persistent teacher.

Namrata Patel has always been an active participant in the class, in one of our program “Certificate course in Prakrit Language & Literature’. It is remarkable that, she used her skills along with studies to make teaching-learning materials/ PPTs. All those PPTs are very useful for all the basic classes of the Prakrit language. They are used by the teacher in most of the lectures. The pictures used in these PPTs and the charts at the required places make the topic easy for the students. Namrata’s cooperation in making a versatile material is highly commendable. Thank you, Namrata!

As I personally believe that, a pregnant lady should learn a new language for her baby s brain development and at ‘Ved Garbhsanskar and Ayurvedic clinic’, we choose SANSKRIT as both the Hindu and the Buddhist traditions have strong Sanskrit roots. Neuroscientists discovered that mesmerizing Vedic mantras increase the size of brain regions associated with cognitive function, including short- and long-term memory. It enhances memory and thinking. Learning Sanskrit is a part of our Garbhsanskar process Shukmuni, a well-known Vedic scholar and the son of Vedvyasa, became a Vedic scholar by birth as he was introduced to Vedic chants during his days in his mother’s womb.
To get maximum benefits of Sanskrit in an unborn child ‘Ved Garbhsanskar’ arranges SANSKRIT learning classes regularly at its center. Mrs. Namrata Patel has taught Sanskrit very enthusiastically, seeking active participation from all pregnant women. She also guides us to design more Sanskrit sessions for pregnant women. We positively see that there is a great impact of listening, speaking, and chanting Sanskrit on the fetus during pregnancy. Thank you, Namrata!

It’s unbelievable how easily such young children pick up Sanskrit, by play. I was not so fortunate to learn Sanskrit in my early years in an interesting manner like this. But my daughter comes home from the Sanskrit Activity Center to teach me so much.

Enrolled my daughters Dhanvi, 8 years old & Neeti, 15 years old from Calgary AB. It was a very nice experience to learn Sanskrit for kids. Miss Namrata was very nice and she knows the technique to learn kids Sanskrit. As they are not aware of this language. Special thanks to the tutor Namrata. She is indeed a very good teacher. Kids learn lots of new words. They had fun. Thanks.

I liked where the teacher put the meaning of the shlokas. My experience was amazing, I learnt lots of new things including shlokas, basic things and even how to introduce myself. I had done the previous Sanskrit chanting and introductory Sanskrit learning course last year. I would like to continue to learn and practice.

My mom found this camp on Whatsapp and | wanted to try it. I originally knew no Sanskrit or Hindi, so I thought it would be difficult for me, although to my surprise the program was in mostly English. I continued as I was intrigued by the mantras, stories, and lessons. The assignments were amusing and interesting. Also, Ms. Namrata was very interactive and made all the lessons fun. This camp taught me so much about Sanskrit, thank you!

The best part I feel is the Grammar was taught in a mathematical manner, especially the Sandhis & Shabdroop & I love both Sanskrit and Maths. I loved the way ma’am related shlokas to real-life incidents.

I was very passionate to learn Sanskrit because it is divine mother language of the world. I grew up studying in India until 9th grade where I learned Sanskrit but since moving USA, I had no exposer to language to enhance my knowledge to speak correct pronunciation of the word while reading shlokas from Shikshapatri or other holy books. Over the time I forgot the language.
During 6 months of Sanskrit class, it reminded me of my days when I was in India. The lessons were designed for both adults and children, beginners & advanced. These classes enhance my knowledge about Sanskrit language. There were many hands-on activities and resources to learn. This was a great experience to learn Alphabets, Pronunciation, Grammar, Sentence formation, and beginner level conversations. We learned to speak through traditional methods like singing and chanting, but also by discussing everyday things.

I feel privileged for having an opportunity to be included in the Spoken Sanskrit Course through SGVP. There was an excellent interest from the administration and teachers on the team. The students were also very enthusiastic and made the learning experience enjoyable.
I am astonished by the dedication shown by the teachers, especially Namrata Patel, who spent a lot of time sending in the assignments and correcting them. All the questions were replied very promptly, which helped us to finish the assignments. She had a lot of patience in dealing with students from all walks of life and different age groups. In all, it had been a great pleasure to be a part of this endeavor.

Since long I had an aspiration to learn Sanskrit. The interesting thing about these classes was the students ranging from as young as 5-10 years, some at mid-age and seniors like me. We all had no prior experience of learning Sanskrit baring a few participants. The takeoff was very smooth as we were fortunate to have an able teacher in Namrataji. She was not only pleasant to speak with but she took great care in teaching with love and affection.
She paid individual attention to each student and encouraged everyone to participate actively. Initially. I felt shy and a bit embarrassed to talk in front of all the classmates. It was the sheer encouragement from Namrataji that broke my resilience and I started participating actively. Gradually I started eagerly looking forward for classes. It was great fun learning new things every week. Being online teaching Namrataji would often use props and hand gestures to make us understand with ease. To my surprise we all did very well when exams were conducted in March. The full credit goes to Namrataji

It is said that the things that sets a great teacher apart from a good teacher are patience, empathy, strong communication skills and engaging with his/her students. These traits really face a unique challenge when the recipients’ range in age from pre-teenage to mature (read that senior) adulthood. That too living not just in various provinces but in two neighboring countries covering thousands of miles. To add to this, time differences ranging over 12 hours and use of cyberspace only!! Such a gargantuan challenge requires wit, wisdom, patience and a continuous pleasant disposition.
Namratabahen, you have succeeded in accomplishing this herculean task! We collectively feel that our spoken Samskrit language skill in one semester has reached a previously unimaginable level. Thanks to you, we feel comfortable, confident and fearless in trying to communicate with our classmates in the language of the Gods!!

All the 4 Sopanam of Sadhvi-Sanskritam together is such a beautiful journey of Shashtras. We can easily understand the original shashtra’s meaning by learning the sanskrit language. To make our spiritual status high it’s very very important to learn original meaning of all shashtras and give this true knowledge of shashtras to all people. Also we can protect our Bhartiya Sanskriti & original Indian religions. That is why I m proud to be a learner of sanskrit by Dr. Namrata Patel from Namaste Sanskrit Institute.
